Directed, filmed and edited by Skintflicks, the short doc ‘Gilly’ was commissioned to promote 22 year-old Gilroy Northover’s music on the web, and does so using his own inspiring personal narrative to showing how he has come through exclusion from school and a life-threatening illness to become a role model for young people.

A testiment to the quality of our filmmaking, ‘Gilly’ was selected for the series Docheads Presents London Short Docs, broadcast on 8th April 2014 on London Live, The London Evening Standard’s new TV channel, potentially reaching 4 million homes and 9 million people.
